Today not only did I stand to do a complete qigong set, I did it outside in the fresh air. Psychologically that is a huge milestone. I have asthma - and I know that fresh air is important . When I am in the countryside I really don't my inhalers at all. The link between breath and body is a huge part of what qigong is about so being able to breathe well really helps . While my garden in suburban Brum may not have the same quality as air in the countryside it is better than air inside the house simply because it is outside.
One of my biggest symptoms the past few days has been coughing - I didn't cough once while I was outside and breathing.
Breathing is an important way to replenish your qi. So fresh air in my lungs is important on so many levels.
